DESCRIPTION:[Dance and Nature Project – Tenerife\, SPAIN] \n19 – 31 August \, 2019 \nThis project is an initiative to practice dance in nature to be inspired and unearth new creative processes in dance and performance. \nThe work will be focused on dance styles such as Flying Low and Passing Through\, Contact Improvisation\, Release\, Physical Theatre and Choreography integrating energy work and meditation practices from Taoism and Buddhism. \nTenerife combines beautifully all five elements; wood with the powerful forests\, fire with the dominant presence of the volcano\, earth with the rich and diverse soil\, metal with the many special minerals\, and water with the abundant sea. He is a yoga and chi gong – Mantak Chia – accredited practitioner and therapist of different modalities – Craniosacral\, Thai and Tsi Nei Tsang Massage\, Deep Tissue and Holistic Massage\, Neuroskeletal Re-Alignemnt Therapy\, Reiki I\, II and Master’s Level\, Reflexology\, and Cosmic Healing Chi Gong. Legakis holds a BA (Hons) Dance Theatre (2006) and MA Choreography (2007) from Trinity Laban (London\, UK) and a Masters of Buddhist Studies from Hong Kong University (2015).
