Dancing Landscapes

[ABOUT THE CLASS]

Workshop of contemporary dance and improvisation of movement opens the space to explore and find oneself in movement, begin with inhabiting one’s own geographical body and its physicality in inherent interaction with space and ourselves who make up and inhabit this collective dance..

For this, we will have at our disposal the transmission of tools that allow the exploration and play of movement, such as the execution of simple mechanics inspired by contemporary dance techniques, instantaneous choreographic composition, collective improvisation exercises and the blooming of states through the imaginary world.

Aurora is a dancer, performer, producer and holistic therapist. She graduated from the Bachelor of Contemporary Dance at the Escuela Superior de Música y Danza of

Mty, Mexico (2007-2012) with studies from the Specialization Program in Visual Theater-Dance at the Post School KiM Kosmos in Movement, Chile (2015). I have collaborated as a creative performer in several dance and theater companies in Mexico and abroad. I am currently studying postgraduate studies in Bioneuroemoción ©, Enric Corbera Institute and exploring the co-creation of interdisciplinary projects and production of dance events in Mazunte, Oaxaca.

[ABOUT THE CLASS]

Somatic Improvisations

The perception of physicality, the potential relationship that exists between attention and sensations to dive internally.

How do we become more permeable to physical forces, relationships with others, and space?

Inhabiting and enabling us towards the new, unknown and spontaneous, allowing ourselves to be moved, perhaps, by a greater force.

In this workshop we will use improvisation scores in order to develop our explorations in relation to others and space.

From Argentina. Body and movement researcher, dancer of contact improvisation for some years, he has been part of the contemporary dance company Otux, Chile. He has produced events focused on the dissemination of the practice of c.i. sharing classes in some locations in Chile, Argentina , Uruguay, Mexico and United States.

Augustin has a long year experience in Iyengar Yoga.

He is teaching regularly in Mazunte, USA and across the world.
